
I am on my third day at Green Mountain at Fox Run in Ludlow, VT. Catch up on my blog: more information on resort or know why I am here and which Check-in was similar.
Fitness
Yesterday I had trained to do run in the morning — 16 miles between the hills of mountains. It was glorious! I used the www.mapmyrun.com and competencies of staff wonderful fitness to help me. I’m running Marathon Chicago 10/10/10 and my program has been a bit hectic, so I wanted to take a chance to perform in the cold air. This is something to keep in mind. If you’re not sure if this site is for you, give them a call and ask. If you want to work in the image of your body, but are rather well with the exercise, you can have it running on your own — trail running on the Appalachian Trail — or go into some of their advanced fitness classes. There is also a gym which you can use. So I really think that no matter where you are with your fitness, you will have something to do. I encourage you to try the “new stuff” too much like tonight the class “Shake Your Soul” or Kripalu. Just have fun with it. Today I took meditation and strength training. Did you know meditation puts brain alpha waves, which is therapeutic and of course we don’t get that kind of “brainwaves” these days.

Fitness instructors are there to teach, correct the form and you advance in the program so confident, that you can do so on your own you go home!
Go “Vermonting” hiking trails
Participants may go “vermonting” in a group, or anytime they want outdoor for fresh air and nature’s stairmaster — hills!
Gym group
Lot of group fitness classes. This was established to force training with free weights. I took a spri band class today that was challenging and ABS on the ball subsequently were killer! Slow and controlled Movements, not quantity, matter most!
Food
The food here is suspended. The chef uses predominantly organic foods — how can obtain here convenient and maintain a seasonal menu of 4 weeks (some people stay 4 weeks and do not want to repeat the meals). Personally, I like how you combine food and education on a constant basis. Check it out …
Yoghurt for breakfast
Show the size of serving and nutrients (dream of a dietitian to teach the portion control and nutrient balance — one of the keys for healthy weight management — eat carbohydrates alone and that you quickly burn through that energy add a protein and your energy will last longer).
Nut Butters
Nut Butters like this almond butter (also make peanut butter) and seed Butters (sunflower) — these guys are a good source of healthy fats, vitamins and minerals. They have these scoopers 1 tablespoon great that I am going to get home. Portion control Is simple. Nut Butters out of the pot is one of my “emotional eating” trigger — but I feel like the scooper would be very helpful with an Apple or banana — and of course working that conscious eating
Taco Salad day, we plated our food and who has given us guidelines for balancing out the foods to get all the nutrients. How did I do?

green salsa was homemade — were hot sauces and SPICY — the Green sauce was beautiful, the habanero I could use just a TEENY bit — and I love spicy!
